How to create custom checkout questions

There may be times when you need to gather additional information from your ticket buyers that will allow them to enter their own personalized response. Follow this guide to start using the Custom checkout questions feature.

1. After selecting your event, click on the "Advanced" tab

2. On the Custom checkout question, click  the "Yes".

NOTE: If you are on the Ticketing only package, you will need to upgrade to the Ticketing + Marketing plan to utilize this feature.

 

3. Set up your custom checkout questions

  • A 👉 Enter in the question that you would like answered by the ticket buyer.

  • B 👉 Choose your question type. Short answer
    • Short answer: Choosing this option will allow the ticket buyer to enter in their own response.
    • Dropdown: Choosing this option will allow the ticket buyer to choose their response from a dropdown of answers that you choose.
    • Checkbox: Choosing this option will allow ticket buyers to make their answer selection using a checkbox next to the applicable response. 
  • C 👉 Choose who will need to answer the questions and if it's a requirement to complete the transaction. 
  • D 👉 Here you will choose which of your ticket items that will display the questions in the checkout flow.
  • E 👉Click "Add a new question" to add addition checkout questions

Once you're done, click on the "Save & continue".
