In addition to using PromoTix's secured built-in live streaming software PromoStream, you can also sell tickets to a virtual event using a third party streaming service. This guide will teach you how.

IMPORTANT: When using a third party streaming service, your stream may be unsecured, meaning attendees may be able to access your stream without purchasing a ticket on PromoTix. Keep this in mind and review your streaming platform's security measures before proceeding below.

If you would like to create a PromoTix secured virtual event, click here.

If you would like to create an in-person event, click here.

1. Click on "+ New Event"

Click on the "+ New Event" button to start creating your event.

TIP: You can also create a new event using the method below:

2. Fill Out Your Event's Details

  • C 👉 Paste the "join link" that ticket buyers will need in order to join your live stream. This link can be found on your third party streaming service.

NOTE: When attendees purchase a ticket to your Unsecured Streaming event on PromoTix, they will receive the link you provide above to join your live stream in their confirmation email.

3. Set Live Stream Dates & Times
