There are even separate tabs for movies and virtual events. You can search for events by typing in cities or keywords, and once you have created an account adding your event is very simple.
eventseeker is a fantastic way to promote your event in your city. The website lists events ranging from concerts, theater, sports, the arts & museums, dance, nightlife, education, business, festivals, family, and community. It's easy to add your event to the website simply by logging in.
YourEventFREE will advertise any kind of event, anywhere in the world for free. All you need to do is join and add your event to the category it falls under.
Yelp started as a business review site, but now it has turned into so much more. There is an “Events” section in the top right corner when you enter the website. You can search for events by city, dates, music, film, fashion, food and drink, charities, sports, and many more categories. You can market your event on Yelp by logging in and creating an event on the “Events” webpage.
You might know Craigslist as a local selling site, but they also have a place to market your events. You can add your event by going to the “Community” tab and then looking under it to “Events.” Viewers will see your event if they click on the “Events” tab or if they look at the event calendar in the right sidebar.

Online forums are a great place to submit your event for marketing. Just Google keywords that have to do with your event and add “forum” to the end of it. Once you've found some forums that seem to fit you event, post your event to the message boards and it will be marketed to your targeted audience right away.
Facebook is a powerful way to figure out what is going on in the world around you, whether it has to do with your friends, family, local community, or around the globe. Making a Facebook event page is a simple and effective way to market your event and reach people easily. The American City Business Journal is a media company providing coverage of business communities and breaking news. The Business Journals is a division of ACBJ that features business events across the United States. Although it does cost money, you can add your event to this website and market it to business professionals.
23. Crain Communications
Crain Communications is a privately held business publisher reporting on business endeavors across the globe. They have separate websites for different cities, and each website has a section for events that you can post in. From their website, navigate to "brands" and under "REGIONAL BUSINESS PUBLICATION" select your corresponding region. On the right hand side of the page select "WEBSITE". From there find "EVENTS" (either on the main menu or under "MORE +") and under that menu you will find "SUBMIT YOUR EVENT".
Evvnt is a digital event marketing platform that allows you to post your event to multiple listing sites at the same time. There is a catch however - if you submit your event for free, it will only be posted on one website. If you join the premium service then your event will be posted on all of their syndicated websites.
Bandsintown is a platform that allows fans to search for their favorite artists or bands and find the latest information regarding tour dates, live events, live streamed events, and more. Once you register an artist, you can list all of your events and their subscribers will be notified about them. This is an excellent way to market concerts, music festivals, and other music-related events.
Meetup is the place to “discover events for all the things you love,” and with that being said, I do not see another reason why you would not join the site. It is easy to join, and once you do, you can simply create an event and market it. Meetup includes events from every category, including career, business, outdoor and adventure, learning, health and wellness, technology, social, LGBTQ, book clubs, hobbies and crafts, and more.
